Instantly change your camera and render settings in Blender
This add-on helps you to get accurate information about your camera directly in Blender. In just a few clicks you can get correct info about your sensor size and source resolution.
Open Preferences › Get Extensions, press the arrow in top-right corner and select "Install from Disk".
Select downloaded .py file and confirm installation
Then Allow internet access for the addon: Edit - Preferences - System - Allow online access
Copy extension file to the location:
C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\<blender version>\scripts\addons
Then Allow internet access for the addon: Edit - Preferences - System - Allow online access
1. Select a camera object
2. Open "MM Camera Database" panel
It will appear in Data tab on Properties panel (green camera icon)
3. Click "Load Cameras" button
The full list of cameras will be loaded from the server.
4. Select your camera model
You can use a search. Just click the little triangle at the bottom and it will appear
5. Select your sensor
Sensors list will be loaded when you choose a camera
6. Click "Apply Sensor"
After that, your camera settings will be changed accordingly (Camera sensor width and height, Format resolution X and Y).
